Its good that you could post on the forum... it is always nice to get a bit of support even off 'strangers' but GBNP is correct about the legal aspect of it.... just be careful what you write
My own take on this issue in general is this is the 'what made you sad' thread, and you will read sad stories or get the main reason/s why someone is feeling sad. I personally don't particularly like reading about people who have died or about those with terminal illnesses etc (as both those are sore points with me) but I feel strongly that people should initially be able to write about WHY they are sad...no matter who it upsets and THEN can take it to PM if they need/ask for support....
Perhaps we could start a 'Problem Page' type thread somewhere on the forum for those who need that help at times???? Then anyone not wishing to read certain things need not venture into it....
Yes I know this a biker site about bikes etc but we all still need support too at times. Just a gentle suggestion no offence intended to anyone.
Melpinky, don't think its owt to do with etiquette surely its common sense not to write anything on a public forum which can be used against you by a lawyer in a court case... thats all i meant.
In general...what made me sad today?.... Nothing as usual..... I must be under a permanent good luck/happy cloud.
On reflection too I think a 'Prob Page' would perhaps be too contentious on this site .... ah well it came from good intentions (but as we know the road to hell is paved with 'em and no good deed goes unpunished )
Wet socks. It's a tad damp up here in Glasgow . Tne yard is under about four inches of water. My fekn boots have given up their ghost . I'm gonner have to invest in a new pair. As any bloke can imagine . It's quite heart breaking having to waste good dosh on clothes lol. Dusty x
