Just to chip in about events in general. No one should feel obliged to go to any event or to support any event. It's up to the organisers to make their event appeal to the membership. If I organised an event to the marmite factory , including free samples. Some people would love it , some would hate it . Loud heavy metal , good or bad?. Burgers , good or bad? 600 mile motorway trip £90.00 fuel plus £30.00 entrance fee for one night out , good or bad? Same trip for 4/5 nights out =good. Hallowistmass at Brum . It's only£3.00 plus 400 mile £65.00 petrol and £35.00 for the hotel . £100.00 for four hours in a pub. ? Plus food and booze £150.00 Nah. It will undoubtedly be a great night out and I'm sure everyone will have a whale of a time. Great value for £3.00 not so good for £103.00 Top of Scotland £203.00 There is a recession on and people want a bit of value for their hard earned cash . (if the Stones were playing ;absolute bargain)lol When people say somewhere is too far . They are really saying ;the costs outweigh the benefits ; In their opinion. They are neither right nor wrong . They have assessed the situation and made a decision based on their own circumstances and values. Dusty x
Dustin666 Thats why we time it to coinside with the bike show as some members are going anyway so it gives them somethink to do and a chance to meet up with friends. on the night. We dont expect anyone to feel obliged to turn up. All we hope is that if there plans change to remove there name from the event .

Well not a happy bunny as my Meta alarm system descided to go coput today so left with a dead bike ,having sytem taken out professionally as checked with my insurance and works out my bikes cheaper to insure without the meta alarm ???? so how does that work .Going to have another system professionally installed next week though as cant take any chances these days
Well Les Miserables was on the telly today . . . what a load of crap . . it certainly was named well . . felt almost suicidal, until the pan of chicken stew and dumplings I made was ready . . phew!!
