erm off at a tangent i collected bargain basement xj900 for £50 and was suprised of its condition after basically being stood in a large bag outside for a year .... even the battery still had some charge.....and no rust.......

Well done nellie that sounds like a bargain, just in parts alone £50 can't go wrong

Today I rode to Squires on my own today and I was so chuffed with myself! I stopped once to check directions to ensure I was on the correct road, but apart from that, I made it. I had a coffee and a kit-kat and then rode home. I'm loving it even though the heavens opened on the way home and a red van blocked my filtering through the traffic and my mirror hit his mirror, but I got through it with nerves intact! lol

Nice one TABOO7 that sounds great, I have cleaned my bike today been doing a few miles on it with a fantastic lady on the back. So it was time for a spruce up, ready for next time

Took a spin over to Tan Hill, Kirby Steven and back through Reeth. Windy but dry and some spectacular skies.
