Doing some work for an old gentelman this morning of 91 and what a great character he is too,was a pleasure and didnt really want to charge him much either..:)
The attendant came running out shouting 'wait wait, stop'. A pretty young lady came running out and said my van was too tall and although I can get in I would'nt be able to get out as they have put a speed bump in that lifts vehicles over the 1.8m limit and its right under the lowest concrete beam.
So with a small queue of cars building I whip out a spanner and start taking the tube off and much to my surprise the young lady whips out a spanner too and climbs onto my van to help.
Another smile moment today was when I saw a HUGE St Bernard toy in Costco, carried it to where Ian was & tried to persuade him (with the help of 3 women who were passing & had a fit of giggles one screaming I want one) that we really do need a dog in the house, he would look good.
Ian must not have been feeling well, as with his head shaking & cupped in his hands I an sure I heard him praying to God for strength !!

Another smile moment was having my engagement ring cleaned, its lovely & sparkly again now.
