Yeah!!! 2 yr old grandson in hospital for minor eye surgery today. Typically the only child on the ward to be up , charging about and wanting to play within minutes of returning from general anaesthetic! He didn't even rest when he got home but insisted on walking to meet his brother from school followed by a game of footy in the park!!.What a relief !!
having some fantastic mates who came and collected me and drove me to bike club and others who are just as fantastic who brought me home again
Also wen I had me accident I had to have me Ace cafe tee shirt cut off me and i was totally gutted as I had only just made the trip there to get it and was rather proud of it, but my best mate had been onto them and told them what had happened and they donated a new one to me, how fab is that. I shall be writing to them meself thanking them and adding a foto of me wearing it.
the other thing that made me smile is hearing that jaybecs got back on her bike and rode it........go jaybecs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's had this bike, a 1959 BMW R69 since 1960 so it's been in my life as long as I can recall, he's the closest I've ever had to a Dad and at the moment is battling cancer, sadly the doctors have given up on him no so things arent looking good.
The guy's a fantastic role model, lost his left arm in a mining accident when he was 21, he didnt just lay back and feel sorry for himself he re learnt to ride but using one arm with the clutch mounted on the throttle.
