What made me sad? There being no reports about what happened to the man and woman who live(d) two doors up, there were a total of 5 police vehicles in the road where I live. 2 police cars, an ambulance, a forensic van and a black maria. My next door neighbour told me a body bag was brought out but it didn't look big enough to be the man who lives there, so I'm assuming it's the woman and hoping it's not the man's kids. Obviously something nasty has happened at their home and I find it sad that it's not mentioned at all, not even in the local paper.

Whoever was taken out of that house.. it's tragic.. but I truly hope it wasn't a child...
In some cases it's nor reported on straight away because of the circumstances... I'm sure it will be mentioned at some point when all the "paperwork" and investigating has been finalised...
Awful to have it happen so close to home and with folk that you've likely exchanged pleasantries with.. The world is a cruel pointless place sometimes..

Sandy.
My sympathy. x
Lost a friend recently who I thought was still in hospital.. Terminally ill with liver failure, and other side of London. Been up a few times but could not keep doing it financially, emotionally and as a single parent.
He was found 3 weeks ago, Nothing in the papers. I was his next of kin and was horrified to find out he had passed away 6 weeks earlier. The point is that until the inquest is over, they don't usually publish any details in the newspaper. It also would leave the place, as sick as this is, vulnerable to burglary and peep show freaks.
I feel sorry for his neighbours that saw all of that. The lack of information does not mean that whoever it was is not cared for. I have spent very little time away from the situation.. I have had little time to be on here recently, the coroners report is not even finished.
I had not disclosed this heartache on here b4, but i hope it assures you that in keeping things out of the paper they are also protecting yourselves from the prying eyes. Hugs hun. x

Thats extremely sad Hurtz ..Im sure now that you have shared this ,it has halved the somewhat pain that you too are feeling. Its what has to be done to protect the "innocents" from as you say, prying eyes.. but im sure that once you have received the news that you are waiting to hear, you may, just may feel somewhat easier . Sharing and caring go hand in hand Hurtz.. maybe it has lifted just a little by talking about it ... (((((((((((((big hugs )))))))))))) . xx

Just about everything at the moment. Just hoping it's hormones rather than that I am genuinely this miserable

Hugs to all here for your support and for strength to deal with your troubles.
We all know that we can bounce back from a few but life has a way of socking it to us all at once.
I'm fighting back against mine, 1 at a time. Jen your right. Being able to talk about the thing that I needed to most has helped. It was so private to my friend's ending that I had not been able to share the one thing that brought me down and made me concentrate on all the other things. Those I felt able to share. xx
I got sent one of those spam messages today. This one being a very poignant and much needed one at the moment:

She can deal with stress n carry heavy burdens. She smiles when she feels like screaming. And she sings when she feels like crying. She cries when she's happy and laughs when she's afraid. Her love is unconditional.
There's only 1 thing wrong with her. She forgets what she's worth!
I recognise this and need to accept that what I am dealing with would be hard for anyone. We all have a right to be sad sometimes. It's good that we have the strength to see things through. It's no shame to ask for a little help sometimes. Here's my cyber hug to you all. xx

Ohhh Hurtz ... that is absolutely beautiful and im so lost for words. But yes, at times we do need someone.. if only one who has a spare shoulder that they are willing to lend us for a while.. and we give it right back and thankful for the love it was lent to us with... Fight the good fight Hurtz.. there is light at the end of the tunnel.. and yes one step at a time..all will come good for you hun. (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) I wish you tons of light and may your sleep be filled with happy dreams xx

Thanks for the support and hugs RCL and Hurtz, especially as you are having a rough time of it, much appreciated Boss Mom, if it's hormones I know exactly how you feel. It's like having another person inside you that feels nothing but annoyance and anger. It was wonderful when I had my hysterical-ectomy, it was like the posession was gone, I wasn't angry anymore and I had loads of energy too, that's the surge of hormones I had. I know my hubby and son were very relieved when I had been 'sorted out' Seriously tho don't let it linger on, tell your doctor

I've asked for one previously Sandi, but they won't do them unless you have problems because it's such a big op apparently. Could just chop off my head and have done with it lol

Boss Mom If its hormones, back to the doctor see if you can medication , maybe its an early menopause ? Its a horrible time to live through

HUrtz, you are right to deal with your problems one at a time, and this one is big emotional one, but you will deal with it in your own way and be strong So sad for your loss it is difficult and takes a long time to learn to live with what has happened in your life.

I too have massive problems at the moment and as you say life just comes along and kicks us all back down as soon as we start to straighten up
I for one wont give in until my least breath says i have expired and then and only then... does life win and i am defeated .

hugs and positive strength sent to all of you xx

For ALL of you.. I wish just for a few moments to give you some measure of peace.. to take away the hurt and the pain and the frustrations that we all feel... Life though didn't give me a magic wand and it didn't give me a bag of fairy dust... BUT.. someone beyond special gave me this song the other night when I was in meltdown mode... Listening to it now because I'm edgey again.. and it does help.. listen.. hug yourselves.. because you're worth it and you matter... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JONA_6ZCrE&feature=share

Put my name down too please for some sisterly biker hugs.

Don't know if its the weather; my age; my hormones; the olympics; the recession or venus in transition, but "fed up".

Always feel better when I go for a walk, or ride out on the bike though. Or a stranger says "hi"; or someone's face lights up with a great big smile; or a car moves over when I'm filtering....

Actually, now I think of what makes me feel better - well, I feel better.
