I am so sorry to hear this Jackie as you have been an amazing addition to BM and you are going to be very sorely missed.

It is such a shame that some people have no moral code and for whatever reasons chose to post up private messages in a forum. I hope that what goes around comes around in this case and they find themselves in a similar position to the one you were placed in at some point in their lives.

Private does mean private and I'm sure you are NOT in the minority in thinking that, as you said "whatever the content" It is ridiculous that someone elses actions which are wrong should put you in this position. I personally think that it's a sad day for bm to allow actions that cause someone like you to leave.

Brummie Jackie, totally agree with you on the private pm front. as to removing them from the site, people get removed willy nilly for petty reasons, so why not remove them if they are actually breaking rules? X

im guessing there was a reason to post the "private PM" since i didnt see the original shenanigans but since both sides are obviously pretty agrieved pehaps it would be better dealt with in private PM's instead of busting up for everyones entertainment

Jackie, I cannot imagine BM without you. You gave me a lot of support when I needed it most . I see you as the rock on BM. Where will we be without your fantastic input into the site and organisational skills for the events? I really don't want you to leave, please think about it some more. Who is going to annoy the newbies? I could have put this in a PM, but I want others to know how I care, as I am sure most of everyone else feels the same way.

Dont see how anyone leaving over a spat on a bloomin website benefits anyone especially the one doing the leaving. BJ sure its not worth chuckin it all in for is it? afterall you cant please everyone all of the time....but you can please yourself

Totally agree with other comments, BJ. PMs should remain private - can't see that anybody could think there might be a good reason for posting them on a forum! Would be sad to see you go. Thoughts also go out to the families and friends of the 4 bikers.
