My third ex-battery rescue hen has died. Molly died a couple of weeks ago. I found Polly yesterday dead when I got back from shopping even though she'd been out in the garden only an hour before happily scratching away and now I've just been out and found Dolly. No signs of anything wrong with any of them

The only consolation is that the last few weeks of their lives weren't stuck in horrible battery cages
HRC what a lovely lassie you are - rescuing those wee hens - im sorry they died, but as you say at least they got to know what being outside was like, wandering around, even for a short time poor birds.

Sad finding out the sun is telling lies ... Its out & shining brightly, the wind is not playing out , but someone forgot to turn the temp up & its still ruddy freezing !

The sad thread had been kinda quiet too.. which was lush to see... ~ Bless you lovely.. I'm sorry you had to lose even one let alone three.. but you have room in your huge heart to help more when it hurts a little less...

Me, I'm more fed up than sad, knee is still knackered from last weekend, not been out of the house all week and going stir crazy. Still hurts like mad, bruised and swollen, can't believe how falling off a 2" step can cause so much damage! .
Cheer up karen, I know how you feel, I was only wearing 1 1/2 inch heels when I went over and tore my ankle and broke my foot, you will be out n about soon hon x
Oh no !!!!, just read on the internet that "Jordan" yes, "Katie Price", suffered an horrific knee injury while doing a marathon, this weekend!!!. Apparently she, "screamed in agony" as she crossed the finish line but, soon recovered, after a kiss from boyfriend Leandro !!........OMG OMG...I just can't take it!!!. Going for a lie down and to watch some re-runs of TOWIE........No no, ...it's ok...I'll be alright.....
You know the lengths folk will go to in order to take the limelight away from me, I can't have anything without some celeb or other having to overshadow me .
She'd best not find out I've got to pay a visit to the fracture clinic!
