Big FredI would have thought that if you were not working there would be less risk to them as the van is likely to be used less. As you say it doesn't make sense. If you go down as self employed, as I am, it would probably be better and who is to say that you are not between contracts.
Tried as retired but that put it up by £70.00 on top of the £400 He quoted for employed (the £400 and still OTT) but because I said I was unemployed he said the quote for employed wouldn't be valid. I ought to go to confused.com lmao NOT
Big Fred My van insurance went up £200 this year. I am now paying approx. £700 full comp with full no claim bonus. You can put the increases down to No win No Fee sharks.
I got a quote from a local insu broker (A-Plan). Covers, fully comp, for parking ON road in town centre here, inc legal cover, £100 compulsory excess & and no/zero voluntary excess for £364.64 which isn't bad but I can't remember and can't see on the quote if this is fro employed or unemployed ?
Seeing my poor little grandson hooked up to oxygen and a naso gastric tube in hospital with a very bad chest infection and fighting for breath....very upsetting xx
Not knowing if my brother (not my brother in law), will beat this vile, evil unforgiving disease called cancer is going to take him. He is fighting it, but not reposnding well to treatment and my heart breaks for him and his immediate family.
So you see (if you read the 'What made you happy thread'), immediate members of my family are suffering and there is nothing I can do apart from be there for them and get my lifes priorities in order.
Have you ever had one of them days where you should have just stayed in bed.
Running late this morning I got almost to work and the fuel light came on so I darted into the sainsburys garage to top up.
Not been awake I put desiel into my tank not much couple of £ worth before I noticed, and not been able to do F all about it was forced to just fill it up with unleaded give it a shake to mix it in and go to work.
Managed to do the 25miles home tonight so I hope it runs through but it was just the start to a carp day
Cleaned and polished the bike, went out about ½ hour later to find a seagull had crapped all over it, reckon it must've had a spot of digestive trouble.
cavywavyI would be inclined to ditch that diesel asap. You can get away with petrol in a diesel without damage, but I am not so sure about diesel in a petrol engine, especially with modern highly tuned engines.
