Nee-Nah, Nee-Nah, Nee-Nah....
*sounds of tyres screeching, and doors slamming*
"You coming quietly bitch, or do we hav ter cuff yer?!"
Its a good feeling to have when others care and think about us when we need someone to say, "its ok" or "I'm always here if you need me" friends gotta love em , well in a special kinda platonic way of course , not the sort of "I really love you my best friend" sort of way that one thinks at times, or could get you into trouble of course...
Hmmmmmmmmm I wonder how many of us ended up on here because of that
On of my best friends i've had since childhood told me yesterday that the cancer he's been fighting for the last 12 months is likely to be inoperable, so he's coming to terms with being terminal. Im having trouble taking it in I can't imagine how he is coping right now.
WelshAL I am sorry to hear the bad news about your friends illness. These things suddenly come upon us and it's never easy to get to grips with the thought of losing someone close. All you can do is be there for him and his family. My sympathy goes out to you all. There are lots of people on this site (including myself) that you can talk to if you feel the need.
Best regards
David
Thats very sad news WelshAL....give yourself and your friend some time to take it in. As David says, you can be there for him and his family as and when he needs you...a tough journey so make sure you are well supported too.
Dave
Keep on making memories with your friend.. special ones.. do things you always said you would and never did.. no matter how daft... They will bring him joy and smiles and give you comfort when you need them in the future... Huge hugs.. you are all in the prayers of many now.. for strength and for time...
