I liked hopscotch . . If I see a pavement that could do as a hopscotch thingy, then I would have a quick look and then skip away . . . ooh, tread the beetle, wipe the beetle, push . . . bread, butter, cheese .. . . hell, that game took hours! I liked playing Ralivo cos then the lads on the street would join in, that went on all day too . . ooh gettin' all nostalgic
I will ask this again . . what was your favourite game as a kid?

We used to have street battles, one end of out street versing the other end. Dustbin lids at the ready sticks in hand and your mums pot on your head. We took on the world, well our world anyway lol. Nobody got hurt, apart from the odd whack on the hand or somewhere else not too crytical. It was OK until I got hit in the eye with a clod of solidified earth. My eye was full of crap and was black for about a week. Then we would all play cricket or football in the street. That's kids for you
How would you deal with a burglar if you caught them?
Yes. In 1966 I bought a new Royal Enfield Continental GT. I had it about 4 weeks and it was stolen while I was working in the Strand, London. Reluctantly I traveled home to Kent on the train. Within 10 minutes of getting home, the police phoned to say they think they found my bike and could I come and identify it. It was Bow Street police station. So before I knew it I was back on the train to London. I was shown into the police station yard to be confronted by a pile of bits. I identified some parts for my bike, but no tank or pipes. Also there seemed to be parts for more than 2 other bikes. Apparently there was two lads caught dismantling bikes in the entrance to a block of flats. I had to wait for the court case before by bike bits were released. The judge asked the kids "why are you stealing motorcycles", they replied cos we like them. The judge said, "well why don't you get jobs and buy one then". Both kids got 12 months probation and a slapped hand. I finally got my bike back fully rebuilt 6 months later.
Do you think today the police do a good job or not ?
