Because there isn't enough money to support everything. Most charities are for local organisations. I wouldn't expect someone from, say, Cornwall to support my local hospice . . . that's the way it is. At least we have people willing to help and support! Phew . . . <climbs down off soapbox> . . . What was the last thing you did for charity, btw?
