One thing I noticed about the events attendance list is that the username doesn't highlight when you put the cursor over the picture, so if you don't know who it is, you have to go into their profile to look.
It used to work on mine - appen cos I've switched to Mozilla? But I'm sure it had stopped working before I switched and was still using IE (dunno which version tho)
delete thingy fixed.
3,000 nods sent by 800 people to 1,500 individuals.
Di, the events attendance list does have tags, I've just tested it and it works fine. Yes probably because of u using a crappy browser (Hence my other topic about using Internet Explorer, which actually works and does as I tell it to - as the developer)

So matt 800 people out of how many able to send? members who don't pay don't count. And harley drivers don't count cus their all 3 bricks short of a wall anyway. that must leave about three people?
A little less Harley-bashing wouldn't go amiss. I know of one or three who have cited that as one of the reasons for having no desire to stay on this site. 2 wheels is 2 wheels is 2 wheels. Who cares what you ride so long as you ride? Chance'd be a fine thing, as far as I'm concerned *rolls eyes*
Members who don't pay DO count, cos if a non-paying member nods to us paying members, we can message them, get into a conversation with them and persuade them to part with some cash. I know. I've done it several times. Some of 'em are too tight though & if you promised 'em a 10ft cock and a few hundred virgins, they STILL wouldn't upgrade their membership!
PML @ Wannabe's comments, cheers me dear
Stella (HG) there is a link to the event calendar from the forum, tho not the other way round, cos I try to always add a link (only once has a link not worked, but it does now)
As for members being able to edit their event there's no need, all ya gotta do is give me the details and I will edit for you.
When an event is cancelled it will not be deleted, the word CANCELLED will be added to the event.
That's so those who don't read the forum will know and those who have their name down but don't bother with the topic in the forum cos of all the banter posted, makes it diffcult to find relevant info.
Subject: Event/Topic linking
I know it would be redundant for most topics but is it possible to have a specific field to store a link to the event. This could then be filled in when an event goes up and displayed at the top of each page along with with the subject.
As per Kwak's comment above the the event link field could initially be set to NONE prior to an event being posted (this could allow none display of the field if it's contents = NONE) and CANCELLED if it becomes necessary.
It would then become obvious when an event associated with a topic had been posted/cancelled and save trawling thru the topic posts to find if there was a link.
