Realising that I'm restless again and want to move. Never stay anywhere too long but have to at the moment because of kids at senior school. Must only be nice girls that settle down.

I am at home with man flu and serious snuffles . I can cope with that but due to a previous life as a diver my inner ears are all messed up .When I get a cold I lose my sense of balance, this make riding a bike to work ( especially when I need to stop at lights) a bit of a problem.

Luckily there wasnt too many people around to watch me lose my pride the other day....but even the bloke in the white van was enough!!!!! luckily I only just dropped her from stationary!!!! and tried to let her down as gently as i could so only one broken indicator and scuffs to mirror............sooooo didnt want to damage her body work as I love her hornet colours. So I think the worst thing was definately my pride. Hope you feel better soon Katooom and onabikeagain......I wont say anything about men and illness!!!!!!!

Rioting in north and east London over the weekend. Today it has spread to Hackney, Camberwell, Peckham and Lewisham. The people doing this have forgotten about the original peacful protest. They are oportunists who may need a new TV, carpet or whatever they can steal. Over the weekend many buildings were damaged beyond repair, leaving people homeless. The problems are now closer to home with todays new incidents, well for me anyway.

I agree David ...

I like many remember the last riots of the 80's & hope it doesnt spread like those did, its a shame as those areas have only just got rid of the stigma of the riots of 85
