Hi Cbstu, a very warm welcome to BM and all that it offers. Take a look on the events calendar as theres lots about to be kicking off, Mablethorpe Sand racing is in 2 weeks, a brilliant event with lots of giggles.. We are friendly folk on BM and im sure you will make lots of friends here...Enjoy.....

If you see an event you'd like to go to, on the events calendar, put your name down. http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/calendar.asp If there isn't an event in your area you could arrange your own. Post the event in the motorcycle events forum... http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/forum/all_topics.asp ...to see if there's any interest, then when you've got a few definites attending submit it for inclusion to the event calendar; that way you have a place to put any photos that were taken at the event. Private events (those that aren't open to ALL members) aren't included in the Biker Match events calendar so any photos from those events can be added to individual profiles. Cheers. Hi cbstu. Not far from you, and there are a few of us local. If you are going to event city for the bike show a few of us are going on the sat and cruiser gal is on one of the stands (in the events thread, I'll bump it up). Be nice to say hi in person

Hello everyone!

Thought I'd just touch base with you all - I'm both a newbie to the site and to biking in general and would be great to be in contact with people from here - you all seem like a friendly bunch! I just did my CBT 10 days ago and so have been getting used to the laws of the road "unsupervised" i.e. that there are no rules/respect/consideration when it comes to bikers and you have to think for everybody around you lol! Ten days in and I'm bitter already ;-) Gonna have a years practice and then start direct access next Spring. keep in touch! Nic xx

Hi Nicky_D, and a very warm welcome to BM. We are very friendly folks here and im sure you will make tons of friends. Theres a weekend trip coming up to Mablethorpe for the sand racing on the 15th (Friday) but if you cant make that then you could always look on the events calendar as theres loads of events, meets and rallies coming up. Enjoy x
