Having a chat with someone in work about Fish ...
The comment was made about Tuna steaks tasting nice .. she scrumpled her nose up.. eeewww came the reply ... it was then pointed out she was about to tuck into a tuna sandwich for her lunch, 'thats different ' she said 'Tuna steaks come from fish'... we all looked at her, shlightly bemused & another work mate said well where do you think the tuna in your sandwich has come from?
Without a word of a lie ... she looked at him dead pan, straight faced & replied ' A TIN' !!!
mine went for a first pillion at 21! boy did the wolves prowl around at Poole bike night!at first i couldnt figure out why a crappy old sportster drew so much attention!!
First made my son ride pillion when he was five and could reach the pedals! He is 10 now and still loves it... my daughter is a worldly wise 11 year old (I so do not need to hold on Mum!) and she also loves it.... two kids, one bike though!!
I love this age and never want them to grow up... yet I kinda crave the independance.... hmmmmm

Mine had his first pillion a few weeks back, he's 6 and said as he climbed on the bike "dad I feel all scared but excited". I said you don't have to if you're scared son and he replied "I'm gettin on" lol After 5 minutes I had to stop n tell him to stop leaning so far and just go with the bike LOL
Can't keep him off it now so i've put a top box on so he can hold the grab rails instead of using love handles, sick of him shouting OVERTAKE in my lug hole
Hehe Rusty...
The current ex used to take the boy and I would take the girl...of course that all changed when I found myself having to take them in turns... I went round a roundabout with the boy on the back, and he leant the other way and went "EEEEEEeeeeeep!!!"... laugh? I nearly dropped the bike! But it has coined the phrase, "an Eeep moment" in our family!

Nice one cissy!
I have a different problem in that my 10 year old has no interest whatsoever so I'm trying to balance going off doing exciting things with my 6 year old and spending time playing computer games with my older lad. They're chalk and cheese so trying to please all is ny on impossible
Oooh hell yes... my two are the same... but both love the bikes thankfully. Equally thankfully is having two members of the club who live near enough to me to take the daughter on their bikes while I carry Mr 'EEEP' Man!

I haven't got to the part yet where I'd trust someone else to carry my kids, must be good to have people you know that well to help you. Secretly I suppose i'm lucky only having one interested as we can both go out together and not worry about leaving someone behind! You do realise your youngster will be known as EEEP for life now don't you??
