Getting home in one piece.
On way back from Yeovil. Old dear pulls straight in front of me. Swerve round her with usual hand and voice signals. the Truck behind me had a much harder time as she didnt accelerate lots of smoke off his trailer tyres.
Then filtering down Dorch road which is a fairly wide road was passing a bus when a car coming the other way driffted out and hit my pannier. Gave me quite a wiggle. Pannier has a rub mark on it so sure his car will have a lovely scratch down the side. Went back to see if he had stopped but no sign of him
But made it back and the sun is still shining so not all bad
Sitting outside my ex-wife's house, with my girlfriend, two chip forks and a big tub of ice cream.
Really, honestly, quite an odd scenario, but it made me chuckle!
Finding out that I did not have to have a plastercast on my ankle .. YAY & whats more being told by the specialist that I had to keep using it even tho it is strapped... so lots of bike riding this week with Mr P
& yes the Ice cream incident was odd !!
I doubt they were sitting o/s her house Ian. Am sure there is more to it than that. I mean i cant imagine either of them pulling into a cul de sac to sit on her garden bench. I presume its just a figure of speech
lol. Yes, wd were sitting in the car, directly outside her house, waiting for my son...
And as he was taking a while, and the ice cream would have been melted by the time we got home, the difficult decision was made to do the honorable thing and put the ice cream out of its misery before it turned to milkshake! :-)
ah got ya now your not stalkers now lmao...and i am off today unpacking and the sun is out....and bigbird is growling to come out...no no no cant listen to the voices...muct carry on lmao
My boss coming into the milking parlour(my office) this morning , with foil parcel in hand "Morning Dugald could you manage a bacon sandwich" , "I most certainly could , thank you very much John "
Opens foil parcel n wow that's what i call a bacon sarni , well i'd actually call it a full breakfast sarni , bacon sausage n egg , made my morning that did , lovely jubbley .
