*tuts @ XK*

I'd have thought the rubbish weather today would've been clue enough... yesterday involved my favourite stone circle

Not a cloud in the sky up here. No takers for a coffee in Rivvy, so took daughter in car to Southport and had a mooch round the bikes by the carousel, wearing my 'really I should be on a bike too' look. Daughter not amused and reckoned she'd been conned into a bike event.
Now, shall I go for a spin as it's a delightful evening, or attack a mountain of ironing? Answers on a postcard please.

Ye gads! Step AWAY from the ironing board, man!

I suspect the cloudless sky was thanks to the fact that I just mooched around the stones, instead of getting my kit off for a quick spot of nekkid dancing

Completely messing up a hairpin going up Hartside. Takes skill to mess up a hairpin that badly. Ended up paddling back down the hill, laughing and shrugging shoulders and looking apologetically at the car driver behind who was waiting patiently despite me having overtaking him less than twenty seconds earlier! Not sure Roachy, sat on the back, was too impressed though lol!!

I'm just glad you didn't drop the bike and me along with it!

Well ironing's against my religion... BUT... You're definitely doing it wrong Craig!

Offspring don't get paid to do the ironing... not until they pay a market rate for bed & board and pay YOU for all the work you do for them

& Geoff, I too am glad you didn't drop the bike, Roachy & all

Going to the seaside tonight made me even though I was too full after fish & chips for ice cream... and I now have my candy floss to look forward to during the week

Wannabe if i got paid back for everything my kids owe me i would be half way to being a millionaire by now, but ive finished ironing now anyway, and wouldn't have kids any other way, just dont tell them!!!!!

Aye, I know... but it does 'em good to have certain chores expected of them and for them not to expect extra spends for doing them!

Probably just as well I never had kids, as I'd be the hated Mother from hell, forcing them to do domestic tasks and being super-strict
