my daughter telling me that a person from her collage died today aged 19 from a brain heamorage..................she was only talking to him yesterday.........wot a waste of life
Just found out that a really good family friend, who is an unofficial 'Aunty' to my kids and who helps me out around the house has been diagnosed as having breast cancer and is having the op next Month.
Puts other problems like having no money/job etc into perspective
So Sorry BB. .. was going to post bout my nose that hasn't stopped running for 24hrs but as you say, looking at the bigger picture puts everything in perspective. Hope the op is successful and that life returns to normal for you all asp.
Really sad to read that Blue, I hope goes well for your kids aunty and she makes a full recovery from it....
You and Alice are right, it does put everything into perspective and makes us realise that really, we don't have a worry in the world compared to your aunty and her loved ones
Sad to hear your news Telley. I've been there too with cats that I've had in the past. Two died at 16 which I accepted since they had enjoyed full lives but I also lost two cats at age 12 and felt that they had been cheated of some years they should have had. It's always worse when they have to be put to sleep. I'm sure you miss your westy and will do so for some time. I still miss my cats who have passed on.
