Bullpoop! Pictures lie ALL the time! Even those scrawny models that look like you might break them if you hugged them too enthusiastically have to have their pics airbrushed!
What's made me smile yesterday/today is (1) hearing from some lovely friends on here, who have understood my "cave time" requirements! (2) Knowing I'm in for a treat Sunday when TJ takes me for a spin on his new toy & (3) possibilities of a shop stocking my sparklies on a sale or return basis.
This reconnecting with the big bad world is going pretty nicely so far. Hell, even the sun's shining! Couldn't ask for much more. Except, perhaps, a little patience from my delightful creditors
I'm with Wannabe in that pictures do lie .The proof will be that when Peach EVENTUALLY puts some fotos up of our 'meet' at Earls you will see me.And I'm am not short, fat and dumpy at all

going out for a meal with an old friend for dinner she made me laugh smile and belive in myself again you sometimes forget how kindhearted your friends can be
HG dont let size bother you. My late wife was 9st when we met and ( because of medical reasons ) was 30st when she passed away. It's the person inside is where beauty reflecks.. You look just as good as the way you are..
Catching up with an old bud... hearing some lovely news about another bud and being offered a weekend escape by another... and the sun's shining AGAIN!
What made me smile was having a good natter with a friend and realising that every cloud has a silver lining (it was last night actually but it doesnt matter)
On the subject of ornithology, although it happened over a week ago, this made my day. A little egret (small white heron reestablishing itself in the UK - mainly on the coast) was spotted in Hemel Hempstead. I managed to take a photograph of it which was published in the local paper. Seeing the red kites around Fox's Diner in Oxfordshire was a treat as well.
