Being told today I still can't ride my bike for sometime yet, there was me expecting to ride it for the Fred Hill Run on 7th Feb. No wonder I am depressed at the moment, I really didn't expect to still be suffering like this five years after my bike accident.
sorry to hear your news cg....but you time on 2 wheels will come again, sorry to dc too, its never easy to make that kind of decision, but you know its the right one......i think we as humans should do the same sometimes .
Thinking that mother nature has it in for me
She wasn't so harsh as to dump a load of snow down, but the sharp harsh frost last night ment that my test this morning was cancelled due to roads being too icey
Yup ... & with me starting work Monday & it being new job & all I dunno when I will get time to do it again as I now work Mon - Fri & the local test place does not do them on a weekend.
Sigh
I was sad myself this afternoon after seeing your text shell, re; weather, but I'm also a great believer in that things happen for a reason too, and that the next time will be the right time xxx
shell you might find if you persist on a saturday test you will get it,they tell you that they dont do it but actually do and you can insist on a saturday testby telling them you cannot take time off during the week,i being a so called driving instructor have had the same problem for my pupils, but stick at it and moan you will get a test, hope this helps your cause, and good luck, lets see that big bike on the road.
Thanks white, I have tried, they say the only place doing weekend tests at the moment is miles away, as there is no demand at the moment where we live.
I have managed to speak to work & they said just to let them know when I can rebook it , will prob leave till the end of Feb & settle into my job 1st.
