Got rear downpipe (the vance and hines link pipe did not fit standard
downpipe so had to make a small link pipe and get local guy to weld it
together for me) on the Virago, and took of rear shocker to touch up
paint around the bracket.
Just need to order the stub
extractor now and get the pin out of the front, and strip and clean up
back brake, then it will all be ready to be back together. Looks like
my ratty old XV1100 will be going on holiday this summer.
Its
going to be excellent to get her back on the road. She was my first
bike, done well over 50,000 miles in all weathers and looks a bit worse
for wear, but she is a pleasure to just bumble along on and take in
sights and smells.
what made me smile today was be ing with my grandaughter for the first time this wkendand she is gorrrrrrrrrrgeous and seeing my daughter aswell cause it was her 21st on saturday.

Made me smile, cos my little grandaughter came home after being away fo 11 days, visiting her family in Brum. Missed her, its been quiet without her.
She gave me a big kiss and huggles..and chattered non-stop (in her own language..and having us creased up wiv laughter, shes a little charachter, lol) shes only 17 months, and shes gorrrrrrrrgeous too !
An all round great weekend for me !
Did both sets of cones easy and hard and nearly a figure 8 on motor bike well chuffed with myself had full control of the bike and never hit one cone...well actually 1 But its coming along slowly thought i would never master walking pace on a 125

My cousin. His garage is in a small village in Bargoed. Great machanic and his partner does all the spraying. That price included the paint and all prep work.
