What made me smile today, was FINALLY being able to go out for a run!...................
No big deal i hear alot of you say, (you must be f**k*n mad i'm kinda hearing too!lol).............but any of you who do likewise will know how much i musta been missing the adrenaline rushes etc:o)....................
Got serious shin splints in 06, after smashing a PB in a 10k........what with that n other complications, i was unable to do jack s**t last year...............
Just done a steady 2 miles, n all seems to be fine:o)........oh, and have been working on giving up smoking again recently, reckon the tight chest i felt today, is the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak!:o).........ta for listening.....................needed to share that........................it's all good!
I think he may have been talking about running Herne, not a bike run, if you get my drift? I might be wrong though

Lol @ Kaz. Yr right there, little sod wont stop growing...i bought a load of rugs for him to last this winter and he's outgrown them already! Some of them havent even been out of their wrappers yet! Ebay here i come

I used to love cross country running but I'd have no chance nowadays, tho maybe if I put my mind to it and tried, then anythings possible
Cheers me dear, but to be honest, it aint as hard as you may think!.esp if you was into cross country years ago:o).....i never liked it at school n that.........only started running when i was 41! found it so exhilerating!.typical me though, and overdone it!.still, have learnt me lesson big time.shin splints are terrible:o(.taken ages to fully recover from n all!.........
Really hope you give it another go me dear, think you'll surprise yerself how much fun it still can be:o)..........
