Hey Craig I think that may require a PM lol
Blue, I agree, there are so many folk who seem to think that folk who use the internet are a different species.
What is the difference to being in a pub and approaching a total stranger and asking them if they'd like a drink, and sending a PM to someone you've not met asking to take them for a drink?
Personally I think getting to know a stranger on line before meeting them is easier than chatting to a stranger in a pub
However just cos they have a profile with their info on doesn't mean it's accurate.
The internet is just another means of finding friends or partners, nothing sleazy about it, unless you want it to be.
u go for it blueboy u can flog yeh band on it too !

In my experience a lot of paperwork, form filling, goes into it - and in our case dragging a camcorder and tripod around for up to 9 months. We did filming 4 years ago (none of which was used either) and put our heart and soul, as well as many hours and cost of diesel into it. Forms had to be filled and permission requested if anyone was in the background not known, etc - was a real bind on a weekend, and week nights for a long time. We don't regret it but would never do it again either. My point is, what about the people at meets who don't want to be filmed ? Also you're not your natural self when you know you're being filmed, as well as all the takes, hanging about - to me it would take the fun out of the meet. Personally I wouldnt go near this with a bargepole and it would put me off meets - I'm also with WN, its just a dating version of Big Brother and dragging personal experiences from peoples lives. Would they contact the person the BM member was talking about (re, previous relationship)? Sorry but for me it's a bad call
thanks for all your input on this (more still welcome if you've got anything to offer).
It's actually a filming company making the documentary for the BBC, they need to show the BBC that there's an interest from sites like ours in making this work... rather than the BBC actively going out looking for this.
