This may be an urban myth, but I heard that the big space beside the driver at the front of old black cabs, was so they were capable of carrying said hay. Luggage was consigned to the boot and racks on the roof. Only latterly has it become a luggage area. I must confess, I cant be bothered to check its validity, I rather like the sound of it

I know what you mean Em - some of those urban myths OUGHT to be true, even if they're not based in fact... they just fit... and make a good story

Prof If my mother asks i am always ladylike Just found out it is illegalf for womaen to eat chocolate on public transport - wondered y that man was staring at me scoffing me mars bar wen on the bus, phew thot he was spell bound that my butt fit on the seat !!!!

It is incorrect terminology to use the word 'butt' in association with ladies, as this is a masculine noun.

The correct feminine form is 'buttress'.
