have consulted cyrstal ball geoffb and by my indications you should be due a win in two weeks time! as to how much????? well i accidently knocked it off table....... smashed to pieces!!!! doh!!
Cool. I'm gonna think positive and go spending tomorrow.
I'm thinking a couple of new bikes, maybe a Yam XJR for touring, a Blade for a bit of fun, a VFR for everyday use and an R6 for track days.
There is a house down the road for sale which I have always been fond of. It is going for around a half mill, which will be no problem at all with my win, so I'll put a deposit down on that tomorrow as well.
I have also promised myself an Aston Martin DBS should I win, so I'd best get a deposit down on one of those as well.
Jeez, gonna have a busy day tomorrow!
ooops you better hold fire on that spending geoff............... superglued crystal ball back together..................... you win a tenner mate............. sorry
should be enough to pay me my fortune telling fees!!!! he he
Heyyyy DS nice one abart the win !!
and thank u for thinking abart me an Wannabe!! ((HUGS))
...maybe this is the first line in the FFS good luck lottery.. ?!?!? hope so... mebbes 2009 is gonna be the year of the FFS!!!
Suitably prune-ified, I'm now ready to carpe diem and all that jazz. The Pouilly Fume is chilling in t'fridge ready for tonight's candlelit bath-fest and I may just have another soak to celebrate lunchtime!
Postie's been.Roachy Rocks! Thank you lovely lady!
Only just seen this WB, no problems and I hope it does the trick. Nifty thing ain't it, I hope you haven't been sliding all around on it either!
I'd never mess about with stuff specifically designed to help my poor old Dad in his time of need... I've never pulled a handbrake turn in his wheelchair in Kings College HDU either... Nor nearly upended myself in front of the consultant while attempting to pull a wheelie *ahem* Nor have I used his hydraulic hoist as a swing... And I've NEVER put the dog in it. That would just be plain cruel!
I'm just gutted that they decided against installing a hoist on runners leading throughout the entire extension they're having built... Had all sorts of party games planned for that.
It may have been a contributory factor in the decision-making process
Hmm... wonder if there is a market for that?
I have a wheelchair in the house at the moment that I ..er... sometimes use to just go up and down the hall in... ( to keep the hubs from rusting..or summat... honest!).
The other night I was rolling down the hall and Elvis (my rabbit) was running in front of me.... just for a fleeting moment I felt like a Roman Emperor in a chariot......
Thinking of Roman chariots.....
TC - as our resident design engineer, could u come up with an idea for retractable blades for bike wheels, like James Bond's Aston Martin?
Next time some bozo decides to cut us up...
You mean you don't carry a paintball gun with you, XK??
I think the authorities might have something to say about the blades so let's think laterally.... how about a little black box, about the size of a matchbox, that has an LED counting down from 10 to zero and a red flashing light... when some cuts you up, just catch him up (or wait for the next set of traffic lights), place it on his bonnet (via the magnetic attachments) so that he can see the countdown and then watch his reactions in the mirror as you pull away...
Orders taken now.. I accept Paypal, Visa and book tokens...
lol.. cheers TM!
Elvis wanders the house with my two dogs anyway.... I would LOVE to make her a saddle so she could ride on the bigger dog... and a lance.... and a little bunny helm...
they do make nice house pet's it used to go tp sleep on my lap on its back!but when it woke it was always with a sudden start an would jump a mile using its sharp an powerful legs an scratching me if iwasnt quick enough!!!
Ah, it's YOUR rabbit - Cool!!
Sorry TM.. a bit slow there...
Elvis is so funny when she is on her back - completely hypnotised... and I know what you mean about the razor claws, I used to be competely lacerated by her when she was a nipper!
er...anyway... aren't motorbikes great? *cough*
My ace landlord, who took pity on me having nowhere under cover to park me bike.....
Also knowing that i've had the cover nicked by some little scrote, and with the weather getting colder etc..... he's made room in an out building, at the back of the house for her...YAY!!
