Same here. Hammering it down in the night, sunshine and blue skies half an hour ago, hammering it down again with a howling wind right now. Might just give the bike a miss today
well have been playing out all day in the sun making the most of it before artic conditions set in scooting along with a huge grin, am lovin the heated grips!
Had a nice ride up through Blubberhouses and Harrogate and back via Squires. Roads were a bit wet and mucky in places, but not as bad as was expected given what Mr Weatherman had said.
I was also thankful of heated grips, unfortunately my pillion wasn't quite as lucky and her hands got very cold indeed.
what made me smile today....mmm well got a little tale of funnyness........ checked emails yesterday... as one does.... got email from National Lottery!!!!!! getting slightly excited as this point...... ( i have a subscription, same one line of numbers every sat draw)
Email states,,,," great news about your ticket!!!!"...... well by this time i had already moved house...... new car.. and got wannabe her 125!!
email instructs me to log into my account......through the link on bottom...... so i do exactly that....... get to log in page.... cant remember my password or user name...........by this time im tampin!!!!!!!!
go through the usual steps of what to do..... security questions ect... get into my account............. ( are you still following??)
and... then...........nothing.......... diddly squat....... no mention of anything regarding anything to do with a winning ticket!!!!
so i stop to ponder this one??? so then i start to think... oh SH-T... ive been scammed...... its a phishing email,,, ive just given away my log in details to god knows who!!!!!!!
so now im in mad manic mode trying to change passwords ect for all my online accounts....... even my email account password.... which then decides it doesnt want to work anymore.......... doesnt recognise new password!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so ...... now im ready to punch someone.... very very hard....
another call to email provider manages to sort this issue....... this is of course about half hour after i first opened the lottery email..... still wishing at this point that wannabe, Karey and i were going out to buy new bikes!!!!!!
so.... i log back in to lottery account..... trying to navigate my way around to desprately find a win..... anything..... something to tell me that i'm a millionaire!!!!!!!! and yesss........... i find the right page!!!!!!! i have won!!!! unfortunately it wasnt the million or two i had dreamed about......... but it was £87!!!!!
which did put a smile on my face..... so sorry wannabe and karey.......... no bike shopping........ but at least i can get the heating fixed on my car now!!!!! he he!!!

Eeeek! @ this though! Never ever ever ever click on a link in an email like this! The scammers are a bit good at making their emails look legit, as though they've really come from who they're supposed to have come from.
Just open a new window and log in directly to the site from there.
