Update - Jane is back, even better than before! She was only firing on 3 cylinders, hence why she sounded and felt like a bag of spanners. She crawled to Leeds and i found out that number 1 plug lead had snapped. Got new leads on order(and an air filter cos mine is absolutely filthy ), and John has done a temp fix on the existing lead, changed the oil and plugs and she goes like a rocket again. To say i'm relieved is an understatement! John even had to give me a hug when a tear rolled down my cheek at the initial 3 cylinder verdict. I know, i'm pathetic, but i love that car

Having a fridge full of choccie to eat being as only one group of trick or treaters came around.
Having a lovely day spent with my little grandaughter, she has to be the happiest, most contented little baby I have ever had the pleasure of looking after. I think I am going to be looking forward to my Fridays every week from now on as thats my new role while my daughter is at work.

Oddly enough I've not had one trick or treater at my door. I was sure I'd be mobbed at this house as it's in a better area than where I used to live. Mind you it is a dark street so that may have put them off.
I don't need a lock I just don't answer the door. I used to love going round the streets with my son and opening the door to the kids when they came calling in their costumes but these days it's more likely to be teens, most of em don't bother to dress up.
I was a bit baffled as to why folk were letting off fireworks then realised that the 5th lands on a weekday so I guess it's Halloween and Bonfire nite rolled into one.
