I lay there. The tears streaking down my (rather lovely) cheeks painting their rivers of pain. They fell to the drying blood filled dust. My whimpers of distress unnoticed.

Would I live? It was touch and go. ( a good game to play if anyone is interested)

I will be ok...

I have hobbled to the shop myself.. It was a struggle, but slowly, with determination, digging deep into my reserves of bravery, I got there. People stopped and stared, some even pointed - nothing new there.

Then, digging even deeper, on to the chippy.

It was closed!

Now, I am really annoyed!!

I even put clothes on to go round this time!!
