............So, arranged today such that I could go on't bike to the Ride-in Motorbike show at Ingfield manor (6 mins from my house).........friend arranged to meet at mine at 10am..................went and got the bike out, and...............wouldn't start!!! Then in my efforts to start it, just as it was about to fire up, the battery died! New battery too, only had it a couple of months! So can't go to the show!
ne'mind Shel - there's lot of men in leather racing around a few tracks today on shiny 2 wheeled things with engines in - you can watch em on the telly......hmmmmmmmmmmmm Men in Leather.......
..Can you tell I'm fed up with having to work this weekend?
I wanna go play on my shiney 2 wheeled thing that has an engine tho
You could have had a BBQ stella ... yesterday would have been the perfect day for one
Awww Stells I thought about you several times yesterday and how it had turned out to be such a perfect day for a BBQ (esp given the weather of late) and you'd had to cancel it and WORK so wasn't even off enjoying yourself doing something else.
Hope you get to take a few days off after all this working you're doing. Enjoy the racing today and don't forget the tissues for the drool.
apalling riding and driving by a few idiots yesterday while on my way to and back from Devon ,worst was coming face to face with a biker on a bend!!how he or me missed a collision i dunno! he's probably cursing 'the idiot cager' with his mates today at west bay as he was headin that way!! i do remember his bare legs and white trainers and fat sunglassed grim face[it was a cruiser!]!! and it was cloudy cold an drizzly if your reading this mate your a total pillock!!
Hearing on Friday that a friend has come off his bike and lost his leg, he was travelling from Weymouth to Bournemouth, thankfully an off duty policeman saw the accident otherwise he would not have been spotted and could have bleed to death.
sad that despite a relationship being over for 6 months...he still thinks he can play mind games and threaten me.... no wonder I remain single!
CG.... that's awful! But thank god he was found in time! Sending best wishes from here x
TM glad you mamaged to miss the other person
Dips, sorry to hear about your friend, but thank heaven someone was watching over him & the police man was there.
cissy , takes some people a lot longer than others to get over people & let go ... but he will do in the end
Nooo PL... just one man luv... I never generalise about anyone...and besides, I am sure there are enough horror stories out there to give us girls a bad name too!
Shell...thanks for the ... most of the time I laugh it off, and then it gets nastier for some bizarre reason!
xx
soz 2 hear about yr mate dips, so glad he is still here, n tm i just cant understand these peeps who ride in shorts n teeshirts, they idiots and it aint alway peeps on cruisers that ride like this cos in cov theres bin quite a few blokes on racing bikes riddin in shorts, tee shirts and gloves oh and a helmet.
trouble is,gets us blokes a bad name :(, i hope all blokes aint the same, they cant be surely
also sorry to hear about your friend too CG - very sad and also maddening to hear about bikers who ride like that and give the rest of us a bad name TM - yes he is a right pillock who's lucky he's still in one piece too not to mention the shock that kind of near miss gives to other motorists and bikers who are unlucky enough to witness it too!!! ...............and Cissy, yes, he's only one man but unfortunately there are alot of em around................the man I met on here, although having his own issues, could be so sweet and I thought genuine did the dirty on me after 2.5 years together without warning and at a rally Id been looking forward to for so long!!! I ended it there and then but after the initial denials then belated "sorries" I was also on the receiving end of some very nasty texts and when I wouldnt play his mind games and respond, nothing..............................he was gone!! Nothing stranger than folks hun, some of em not even worth trying to work out but just move on from, be yourself and look forward. He'll get fed up and leave you be once he realises he's wasting his time.............chin up, it'll get better soon, it usually does!
The rain at donnington park and the ride home, but it was a good day......oh..and the stupid pair if chavs this morning at a petrol station, which was empty apart from me, that pulled so close to my bike..i pulled it slighty forward after filling up, to allow them access to the pump.......then to my horror she moved forward...and missed my bike by i swear 5mm......i am sorry who ever you are for my outburst and my language, but you got all you deserved.
