If anyone travelling down today needs food tonight, Faun Cafe is open till 8.30pm DN21 5TL, it is a small local bike night, food is quite good, about 15 minute ride from Skipworth Arms.
I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Brummie Jackie and all who assisted and helped this weekend. I know it's not easy trying to please all of the people, all if the time. I had a good time, albeit a bit emotional at times and I'd like to say thank you all for your support.
Great meeting old and new people... nice to see Matt there as well.

BIB sorry for having to rush off without BJ and me going around to say bye to everyone still there, we were running a bit late. Jackie found the trains had been cancelled on the morning so we had to find a station close to Brum. Dropped her off to find the train cancelled but the previous one was delayed an hour. but i got rid of her in the end. (sorry she got a train in the end). It was a good weekend all around by the comments from peeps and the staff, and they said we were allowed back anytime. So if you want to have this event again let BJ know. Nice to meet peeps again and ones i didnt know, Good you came over again Matt 'BOSS MAN' your support and mingling went down well.. Hope all the best wishes go out to Kaz and that she gets on the mend soon. Sorry the mens showers was 'unavoidable' not working this time but they will be fixed next time. Hope you all had a safe journey home and see you at Lowerlode inSeptember.
Well that was good. I enjoyed myself enormously drinking and talking bollox with friends old and new. Scootie enjoyed himself scampering about new roads in pursuit of Tezza on his magical mystery tour (thanks for organising it Tezza). It was good to meet up with Young Matt The Younger after all this time. Get yourself over again and we'll show you some Proper Northern Roads, the one's without traffic or policemen 😉 All in all a fabulous do - well done Jackie. And now the karaoke risk is over I can say the forbidden word again 😆
It was a good weekend bit of a shame that the number of bikes was so low. Yes I have always said all transport welcome but Bike rallys dont seem to exist any more.
It was a great weekend, Thanks to BJ for all the hard work she put in. Great to catch up with some old members that I haven't seen for years. I know what you mean JP about bikes at bike rallies, This wasn't a bike rally but a camping weekend, but it would have been nice to see more bikes there.
Thanks to BJ for all her hard work organising the 20th birthday party weekend. Good to see Matt for the first time and so many regular faces. I promise to be back on my Tigersport for Lower Lode, assuming my surgeon let's me ! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to LF...
Apologies to all that i did not get chance to say thanks and good bye too, had to leave to catch my train, (all i will say is I #@$*ing hate trains) so I could get back to ensure Eric was ready to go to get his ankle scaffolded today and of course give Dippy hugs and treats !

Stew the Manager/Owner of the site/pub has sent me a message, saying was great to see you all and is happy for you to go back anytime. Shakey has also told me he is more than happy to put up with you lot again lol Jenny and Lesley the food fairies have messaged me and said you were all a lovely bunch (sure they might be dreaming!!) and hopes we meet again as well.
