A little ride into Sussex to meet up with some of the Southern mob, with breakfast, pots of tea and ice cream along the way. 180 miles covered which done my shoulder a world of good.
Went for a nice jolly around lake Windermere with Dave, Suenke and a few pillions for ballast.
Had a great meal on some pass or other with fantastic views and spent the day running from the rain. And stopped off for an ice cream at Devils bridge on the way back. 172 miles covered. Great fun was had can't wait till the next jolly.
Started renovating my gpz750 turbo had a lot of parts powder coated, stripped and rebuilt brakes, not ridden this bike yet, it has been modified 810cc kit, power commander plus a lot more. Look on my profile for pics. Cant wait to try this baby out, back in the day this did 10.8 standing quarter straight out of the crate, with these mods I'm hoping high 9's. If anyone out there has any tech questions just pm me.
Have an IAM run first thing tomorrow morning, then over to Motherwell for a Biker Down course, then over to Edinburgh to go out to the flicks with Sharon, Sunday riding down to Manchester way for a work meeting on Monday, and Monday night I'll be riding back home...
What's the mileage total guess... I'm gonna say around 650 between now and Monday night....
Rode home from Wales to complete 1222 miles over the last six days.
Set off on Sunday down to two-stroke day at CMC in Clay Cross and then on to KISS IV territory (Ashbourne) overnight. Monday we thought we'd see what all the fuss was about on the Cat-and-Fiddle road and looked in at Jodrell Bank before scooting over to Anglesey. Tuesday we rode around the island and on Wednesday we went west to Porthmadog and Bala then Thursday it was east to Rhyl before the Ponderosa and Horseshoe Pass. It wasn't wet all the time.
