Last night, Stopped at halfords and picked up a roll of there none slip matting, fitted it onto front part of my seat as it has split and even though duck tape is a well know biker fix. It looks a lot better covered over (will do until it get the bits to rebuild the seat and recover it) Went to Warrington for the first Tuesday of the month meet up at the sloop pub, then into work early this morning and jet washed the engine on my bike, then masked up and sprayed the head with heat proof paint (looking very nice now) started work on the rear rack support arms for back box, took off all the rust and in the middle of repainting them.
Did a bit of cutting and welding lol, then refitted rear rack (all painted and rust removed) a small amount of painting and cut and fitted some vinal pads to stop paint coming off when useing rear brake and changing gear.
Bike all back together last night, just got to get the three S's out the way , then it's load up and Yorkshire bound to the Farmyard, annoyed had to work today , friends went up this morn
Out all afternoon with bikes/mates, home for 'tea' then back out again heading a run up the coast for a weekend of beer, music and sun (hopefully looks good so far) woohoo!!!
Great time at the Farmyard, nice to bump into BMers and natter, head like a sieve though or maybe it was the beer as can't remember some of your usernames, went exploring the Yorkshire moors on ay home, couldn't face doing all that motorway as in the way up , 416 miles door to door
Checked and adjusted chain :) add no slip grippy web to pilly part of seat :) now whole seat covered in it, dose seem to help, plus it hides the duck tape repair on the seat lol
Also got out on bike at 09.30 yesterday and finished up getting home just after 2100hrs , I would say slightly damp lol.
