Home from Scotland trip , all in 1576miles, time flies when your having fun , damn it, bikes filthy, tyres are shot ,bum should recover soon I hope, wish I had another week on the road though , no feeling like a road trip
Went to a bike night at the Parish Oven pub in Thorpe Salvin last night. (Monday 23rd May)
The route there looked straight forward, down to Half Moon Pub and next left. Didn't realize that there was another left that I had to take and ended up in Rhodesia (No, the town in Derbyshire, not the country) but eventually found a sign to the right place and got there.
It was a bit cold and threatening rain, plus the meet is fairly new having only been going for a couple of weeks, so not many there.
Pub had put on a BBQ and were selling tea and coffee as well as the bar being open, of course.
Hopefully, as people know about it and the weather on a Monday nights are better, more people will go.
Left the group behind over the mountain back to skye, came across this Mondeo which had hit two deer, people got out ok , the deer didn't make it Seems you have to click on the square below to see the picture
Front and rear Michelin Pilot 3's fitted, saddlebags packed ,just got to load bike and off down Builth Wells ( the scenic long route) for the excellent 'No Bull , Just Beer and Bikes' Rally, all have a good bank hols
Ordered a few bits for bike (new bearings for rear shock assembly and some grease nipples) will fit them all next Saturday. Also got a price for a few other bits I will change in a few months when I do a full strip down and refurb on bike. Plus will be out in the sun and on the road again very soon, just stopped for some food lol.

Long scenic route back from the 'No Bull ......' rally, great rally , good times , nice to meet and chat with some BM members, some pretty moronic tourists plodding about but bank holiday and the sun hd it's hat on so pretty much expected, 287 miles
Home from a fantastic week in Ireland covered around 1300 miles fantastic scenery and friendly people, even had someone came up to us in petrol station just to say hi but then went out of her way to take us to P. G. Motorcyles to get new rear tyre. Thanks Paul brilliant and fast service wasnt long and we was back on the road heading home. To finish off went to to watch a few mates at the Anglesey Track brilliant day
Went with some other Midlands Riders from Alfreton to Cromford and up to Carsington for a coffee break.
Then to Dovedale and a gridlock of traffic before finding a car park that 'did' bikes and then on foot to the stepping stones and photos for the Midlands Riders website.
After I got home, took the trike out and went with a mate to a bike meet, where we were the only trike riders.
I don't need a partner, I have mates on two and three wheels who will see me through.
The day started early and the ride up to Kirkby devils bridge in Cumbria was great nice area to visit and there are motorcycle friendly bed and breakfast there see you all later ride safe
Let's see lol, well started on Saturday. Replaced shock linkage barrings, replaced grease nipples on linkage and swing arm. Striped back end of bike and cleaned and painted rear frame area (already done front of frame) cleaned and painted odds and sods around bike.
Sunday just a quick run to shops lol.
Today finished tuching up the bits and bobs on bike, then decided to test painting the lower half of the engine lol, will be painting a bit more in the morning lol.
