Bikes got a clean bill of health for another year at the MOT station today :-), now weather do one get that yellow shinny thing out, Buckley Horse Power (BHP) bike night at The Nant tonight , few beverages and waffling on about bikes, that'll do
120 miles, local haunts, make sure everything holds together after stator fix , ran sweet, the reluctant starting that I put down to fading battery all gone , think the stator hadn't been heathy for a while and finally gave up the ghost as bike starts instantly now :-)
Went down to Worcester sat down by river popped home went back out again with me mate went to stourport then from there to bridgenorth and off home for tea great day on bike ??
Nice day on bike, only about 120 miles again as every slow driver and their dog were out and out with quite a few from the Buckley Horse Power (BHP) group so a lot of time hanging on for everyone to get past the snails
Cleaned bike, checked tyre pressure, oiled chain....turned key to on, prested start and nowt.....back on to charge. Bugger it, was the first day I felt up to getting back on the bike, and such lovely weather....ah well. Always a next time
well I escorted the girls on there bikes to school witch was quit funny, they are only 5 and 6 one had stabilisers but they were dead chuffed with dad behind them on his Honda. then I went shopping filled up the rucksack with supplies for tea, but had to go the long way round just to get some miles on the saddle, so mite just go for another totter around tomorrow
MOT on the BMW for another year, sailed through ... Saved about 160 quid on insurance quote, and found European breakdown cover for both my 'oldies' with Footman James. Ready for my France weekender on 30th
Been out riding since early morning with mate went on breakfast trip out in countryside had a great 5hours riding and belly still full from breakfast meal ??
Good blast on quiet late eve roads last night , 90 miles , early dart from work , bike all packed for the 'You Been Nabbed 25' rally , suns shinning , welcome back summer, you've been missed, stay awhile
