just warmed up after 250 mile run from Cambridge back to Fleetwood last night Still got quarter tank left after filling before left so well happy with fuel consumption . trip took 4our hours [kept to speed limits must be mad ] lolol
Just had her brought home from work with a new MOT and over the next few days I've got to take the battery out because I don't know when I'll be able to ride her :-(
Was hoping to get the bike out yesterday and blow the cobwebs away, but a mate needed a hand and I went to help them so they at least had the chance to attend the egg run at Squires today. oh well, there is always next weekend and the promise of a few laughs and some deep and meaningful discussion.
A little over 100 miles in the most glorious spring sunshine.
Had a choice of at least three events within reach today; headed off aiming from Inveraray - but so did most of the four-wheeled population of Glasgow! Changed direction at Balloch and went up the eastern shore of Loch Lomond to Balmaha instead.
Parked up briefly but there's no cafe at the shore, and we hadn't brought a picnic, so headed home again to watch the MotoGP.
Out n about through North Wales with improvised bodge job on fuel pump relay cause new one not arriving till weds, couldn't waste the sunshine and needed to scrub new rear tyre in 140 odd miles, needed that for the 'ole sanity
