Hey!! behave Nealy, don't go upsetting the newbies. (It reminds me of the furniture covers the Navy provided in the Married Quarters in the 1980's)

Hello Everybody!!! It's grand to be New at this age. 43 today and 44 tomorrow. Feel free to wish me happy birthday - my mum forgot to post the card - so cheer me up. I always call her on my birthday to thank her for humphing me around for 9 months and to apologise about all the pain on the day.

Hi and welcome to the site sweetheart I used to be Sweetheart Kwak but changed it cos it got confusing in the chat room when anyone said sweetheart it wasn't clear if they meant me or were sweet talking someone else lol

Hi Sweetheart and happy belated birthday

Brummie Jackie @ 19/10/2009 09:43

Aha, yes, I guess 'sweetheart' might have not been the wisest choice, Kwak...
I guess I'll just assume everyone is talking to me all the time - ;) (I'd use an emoticon if I could find one... not very bright...)

Thanks for birthday wishes from Lime Ninja and Yummie Brummie - it helps to ease the shock.
Made it! Still successfully dodging buses and juggernauts!

A big welcome to all newbies, any of you not sure about joining in on the forums, or in the chat room, don't be shy come and join in, can't promise you'll keep any sanity you may have but you'll have a laugh while trying to hold on to it and those of you who don't 'do' forums or chat rooms we hope you'll join in at one of the many B M events that the other members organise, or public events they attend, we'd love to meet you there. See 'Events' page and add your name to any of the events you'd like to go to then keep your eye on the forum to see who is meeting up with who and where.

Well I'm sure I've said "hi" before but no doubt through my fault have not met any members yet. I intend to keep my bike on the road over the off season; albeit perhaps with heated gloves and jacket liner. I'd love any NE members to pop into see me in Bishop Auckland by car or bike to talk bikes and possibly ride outs when the weather permits, Roger
