Took the bike down to get a new front fitted but on further inspection the rear is pretty shot to , so double ouch but the smile those new shoes give. Then it was off down through Mid Wales to Llandovery for a big Brekkie with a couple of friends on their Trumpets and various routes home , all told 326 miles, sublime roads, just what was needed
I went to Salisbury for lunch with a good friend, but Blimey, I didn't realise how long the ride would be! I'm so sore but also fed up - my cornering is shite, will it ever get better???
Tell me about it Kev... I'm having 'vertically challenged' problems..
Did my CBT on the schools bike, a Cbf125 and could just get my toes down. Had a look at the DAS bike, an ER6 and could just scrape the concrete with the tip of my toes...and it had been lowered and seat sculpted!
I even tried his wife's old cbr600...nope...feet left dangling...
I'm on a mission to find a bike school with a suitable bike.. It might take some time..
Dead Jealous Shelleygirl, haven't been over since mid 90's though my TV's been on more than usual , Gotta love ITV4 Given the bike a good clean , check over, the last ride out seems to of polished off the front pads, so pads ordered, hopefully will be here before Friday and the Farmyard, two new tyres, now brake shoes, this biking lark ain't cheap but it don't hurt as much as spending money and working on on 'My piece of s**t ford' , damn thing
