It's good enough for my clothes, so it's good enough for your carpet I've used it on kitchen carpet tiles before. After that I decided to do away with carpet in me kitchen, far easier for future spills

Yep, Swarfega is as good a grease shifter as you'll get. Just needs plenty of rinsing and try to ignore the smell a bit lit paraffin, it goes after a day or so.

I need carpet I can't walk or stand on hard surfaces, (in the house) kills my back. I wish I didn't cos wooden floors look nicer. With my extra sensitive sense of smell I will probably smell if for ages.

I didn't need the swarfega, the talcum powder, and subsequent wash with the FOAM off the washing-up liquid, seems to have removed most of it. It's hardly noticeable. Goes to prove what they say about tackling stains straight away and not leaving them. Thanks for your help Now all I have to do is get rid of the smell of babies lol (baby talc) What made me sad today...dropping the last sinus tablet under my cooker, where I can't seem to reach it. I seem to be accident prone lately

to remove small lost items from nooks and crannies place a nice clean sock over the end of hoover nozzle secure with tape or laggy band and poke into said crevice give a good wiggle in all directions and gently extract. Switch off hoover and lost item should have been retrieved (along with every other piece of crap that went missing over the last 20 yrs). or just clear your sinuses with hoover.

Has anyone seen Herne? We went for a pootle around Yarm (N Yorks), followed by a blast down to Northallerton, where we agreed to meet in Tesco's cafe. He didn't show up! I wasn't worried at first, cos he said he was stopping for petrol, but I waited 2 hours. No replies to my mobile calls/texts. Lost on the Moors wiv darkness descending not to be recommended. Is it a full moon?

Are you 100per cent sure it's from PayPal? If it doesn't address you by name, then you can pretty safe;y bin it as it'll be a phishing attempt to get into your account.

Are you sure that's from PayPal Kwak and not a phishing attempt? Contact PayPal independantly from that email just in case.

I think it's genuine cos it does include my name and email address but I've forwarded it to paypal to check. I NEVER click on links in email, especially not from paypal. I'll be narked if I have to change my password cos it's supposed to be a pretty secure one and as I have a bad memory I'll probably end up locking myself out of my account cos I'll have forgotten my password lol

Sounds like you've done the right thing. I get phishing email supposedly from PayPal about once every week!

Wills @ 15/04/2009 23:42

When I've got mail supposedly from paypal in the past it's not had my name on it so I just deleted it but this has my email address and my name so it could be genuine, I'm hoping it's not cos that means I'll have to change my password and knowing paypal and their habit for hening up peoples accounts it could mean my B M account gets suspended.
