That's the way to do it Em... You never stop missing them and that's OK... But remember the lost ones for all the good stuff whenever you can

My friend's hubby died just over 4 years ago at the ripe old age (not!) of 33, leaving her with 3 children under 8 years of age... He's very much a part of their lives still - and that household is constantly filled with laughter - just the way he'd want it. It hurts... of course it does (& that's when it's good to have a mate who loves and understands you so you can phone her up at 3am for a good ol' boo or a rant about how unfair life is )... but always try to remember that the people who love us never want us to live our lives in misery when they're gone.

to all those missing someone special and to Puds & HG... hope the hair-tearing out will soon be at a satisfactory end xx

Chatting to my son made me sad today, they removed some of the lumps for testing, today , but that’s the cat scan done, chest x-ray and all blood test done…. Now just a waiting game for results………..

Spilling cooking oil on my kitchen carpet, the carpet is only 8 months old.I've sprinkled some talcum powder onto it but I've a feeling that's made it worse. It's goin to be a nitemare to clean off, any cleaning suggestions please? The carpet is a short pile, hard-wearing material. Cheers

Kwak - try swarfega. Works on any oil based substance. Just leave it a wee while (bout half an hour), then wash off with warm soapy water.
