A nice, easy drive home from work and in the rear view mirror an absolutely fabulous sunset. Defo made my day! (The small things always make a big difference)
We definitely need to carry on with the lessons GBNP!! Definitely need a meet up soon. Will let you know! However, If you fancy a trip over, you're more than welcome!! :)
Friends visiting my homestead this afternoon with a gift, that is what has made me smile today...bless their wee cotton socks
Thanks for the good wishes KittyCatkins
Yes cheers Joey, my new job is a wee bit similar to what your boy is going for, though not as intense obvs, hence my congrats to him .... a long ass process to go through now for that job. The one I'm after is WAY more laidback and civvy street stylee x
Work colleague just looked out the window and gasped at how heavy the snow was falling, the reaction they got was ................ four of us without prompting at the same time burst into .............yep you guessed it ........... LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW lol
My brothers' emailed smiles at receiving an image I sent him of the passenger list for his departure, at only two months old, with our parents from Southampton in 1958. It's the only record I will find of our generation travelling by ship as they stopped keeping records from 1960 as more people took to the skies instead, but I can still trace Mum and Dad going overseas back to 1958 and 1955 and I'm looking even further back. Amazing this genealogy thing!
One of my early memories is arriving back at Southampton on the day the Queen Mary went in to retirement - that was some sight.
The new turntable I ordered at the weekend to keep me busy while off work by transfer my records to MP3 turned up, So having a little blast of a old Ska album I haven't play for 20+ years.
Good luck to him Joey x Had my boy in the Army for eight years He is out now and home Not sure if leaving was good or bad for him , taking time to fit back into civvy street
Feylin ... Spanx bodyshapers are the key, they are blush-savers and hold everything in ( I know from experience, I really can't fit in me fave jeans without 'em ) xx
My wee niece made me smile today with some kind words in an email
Thanks Feylin, yes I know what you mean. I was married to an ex-navy and it took him and his mates a long time to settle when they came out. It's his dream...just keeping my fingers crossed.
You'll get in the leathers...summers coming, it always helps!
