gettin run of the road in my cage by an arsehole overtakin a bus on a bend, biggest hurt was not being worthy or anyones concern!!luckily no other damage!
thank's, luckily i saw him coming down a hill overtakin the bus b4 the bend which was obsured by tree's so he disapeared from view but i had the feeling he wouldnt get past the bus in time b4 the bend!! so was slowing and ready for it!!but still a bumpy excursion into the grass verge! and he was well past his sell by date from the glimpse i got of him!!
head's up an look ahead! an's how's this for compete twatness a 'friend of a friend' who is constantly on the phone when driving[hand's free, although i still think this is twatness] running a business more or less from his car, wanted a technical buddy of his to work out a head''s up display for his laptop computer screen ie,it's reflected on the windsreen in front as he's driving so the computer would be fixed in front of him so he could type when driving and wouldnt have to take his eyes from the windscreen!he said he knew the keyboard layout by touch! ,he honestly thought this was an ok thing to do!! i said if he ever did this i would shop him no problem,or personally take a hammer to his laptop! makes you wonder how many more jerk's like him are out there!
Just as well I hadnt paid the old bugger up front I told him not to miss this time
Seriously good to hear it was only your suspension that took a hammering
Only briefly still away with work got to take it when you can get it these days. As I would like to have the summer off
watchout for the big metal boxes and have you cleaned that feckin bike yet
er yes actually! went 3 cross motorcycles t'other day a sawa nice new injection model america wiv new shape tank[look's lie a fat boy tank!] very tempting!nearly bought it instead of cleaning me old one!!
TM that must have been (almost) a brown underpants job! Sounds like you've taken on board everything the advanced drivers/bikers tell you about expecting the unexpected, reading the road, defensive driving etc. Even so, a nasty moment - glad you're OK.
yeh Mick.. ive got a good friend works offshore.. thankfully hes ok
but...
What a tragedy...so, so sad.
RIP all those who lost their lives, and deepest condolences to all the families..
Yeah, I've got a mate who works out on the Rigs - hoping he's ok- not heard from him for a bit! but RIP to those who left us.
Shouldn't really follow that with this ...but.................
Grrrrrrrrrr - was gonna attempt to fit me new indicator today - only to find out it's the wrong one!!! (I ordered an indicator for a GN125 & that's what they sent me.......BUT it's not the same one as is on me bike!!)
