went for a pose down the local café, then respectfully sat behind a funeral procession at 20 mph for a mile or so.

Well I'm the proud owner of a new Spyder F3-S and I've now done over 600 miles on it so it is nicely run in.

A very windy ride around Kent then over to Essex.
Cleaned the bike, 1st time since French trip. Found final drive level plug loose and oil had leaked onto back wheel. Not a good advert for Metropolis motorcycles. As I have not long had a major service there. Lucky I caught it in time as it could have turned out very expensive.

I rode to bourton on the water down the Fosse way, I'm told it's a very old Roman road but I had a fab ride, was finding my feet when a sharp bend came up and I scared myself when I realised I was going through it faster than I normally do! I'm told it's over 300 mile round trip, but I loved it :-)

Stu n i went up to Helmsley, then over the N Y Moors, through Castleton, onto Sandsend, Whitby and home via Moors, Pickering, Malton n lovely country lanes. A nice ride out which took around 4 hours with lunch thrown into mix at Sandsend.

Not a drop of rain until we pulled onto the drive at home!

A top day

Went to Southend sea front classic and custom car show.
Then back to London via Lindas. It was a dry day but got chilly as the sun went down.

Took bike for MoT, passed with no advisories. Not bad for a 26yr old machine.
