Being back on the bike....after the initial "what the hell am I doing" moment, the woohoooooooo element kicked in. I've got a big grin on my face :-))))))))
Hearing my name mentioned on the radio, Someone was on there and wanted to say a hello to me....it was so funny.....and congratulations to them for winning the comp! :D x
My lad and his girl revealed that I'm going to have a Grandson. ahhhhhhhh didn't seem too keen when I said I would get a baby seat for the bike. Sorry but I won't be your 'standard' Grandad figure. Don't do armchairs and slippers lifestyle. days out and ice creams is my style. Poor kid eh ?????????? LOL
A black & white photo of my late father taking me to Chester Zoo when I was about 5 years old. A rare treat in those days. Lord, I looked so happy then.
I discovered a Food Bank collection point within 50 yards from where I work. Previously, I had to ride/walk a mile and a bit with a rucksack filled with a fiver's worth of tins from Poundland.
I like to think it was worth the effort, but that just goes to prove what a condescending so-and-so I can be.
