After another cold winter I finally invested in some heated grips. Hopefully I'll get them on before next winter lol.

Took off the dreaded R plate. When you pass your test over here you can ride whatever you want, providing you can insure it, however you have to display "R" plates for a year. The "R" plate means "restricted" to 50 mph, not easy on a VFR800!

Tell me about it can't see it being cheap to get new 1 due to the hiss system

OOPs JP.

I have a similar issue with the Beemer.

Immobilizer ring around the ignition lock broke. so this after noon it was the complete front end off. Bike striped down, front frame off down to the engine including tank and front suspension so I could remove the steering yolk to get at the ring to replace.

Bike now sitting with just the engine, rear frame, gear box and rear wheel. Roll on more day light so I can throw it back together.

@JP- Do Harleys have HISS??? Thought you just needed a screwdriver, hammer and a big right foot lol

No Harleys don't have a Honda imobilizer security system. Funny you should say that as the Harley system is one of the best factory systems fitted to any bike if you try to bypass it or keep setting it off it frys the electronics so you can't start it

Replaced the electronic ignition at the weekend and had a check of the timing last night. 5000 revs to get full advance on the stobe gun makes a lot of noise!!!
