I took my bike for new tyres, and ended up taking a new Yamaha MT07 out for a spin to my fav cafe! It's a great bike, very light and easy to ride but I got a bit chilly!

I managed to combine work and pleasure. Took a ride into rural Hertforddhire. Was a beautiful warm sunny ride, although a bit windy on the way back.

Took a ride to Chatham War Memorial in Kent where my Grandfather is named, from there down to the Oakdene Cafe for a late breakfast and then over to Surrey to Ryka's at Box Hill for a coffee before riding home.

I went for a bimble over to A59 café near Bolton Abbey, then went for a bimble to a bike shop looking for new boots, without success. Today's bimble is the last one in Yorkshire for a while, as I move to Rugby on Friday, and I'm feeling a little emotional about that.
I've come along way on my motorbike journey in Yorkshire and I thank you all for your support and encouragement.
I will be exploring the new areas around my new home and hopefully meet BM members in those areas.

Hey Tab, I was working in Rugby last week, filling in a big hole, just so you don't fall into it lol.
Hope your move goes well. M...

Oh murdoch - how kind of you, it would help to know where it was just to ensure I miss it?? Lol

AJ - I keep hearing about Bassett pole, what the Heck is at the pole?

I need a sat nav - never going to find these places without one lol

My pleasure, glad to be of service. Taylor Wimpey development by the Steam Turbine pub off Leicester Road.
and before I get chastised for not talking bikes in here, just put another few miles on the Yam, going ok so far, still think she needs re-jetting though.
Oh and hopefully sorted the oil leak on the Hornet, fingers crossed.

Thanks for the offer Bugs, I'd happily accept. I'm as confused about AJ's pole as you are, maybe we can it with him?

Bassetts Pole is a pub between Sutton and Tamworth which hosts a bikers meeting every Tuesday night. Gets rammed in the Summer months.
generally a few BM's get up there also.
