To find somewhere to live, that I can afford once I have to stop work. What piece of kit would you like to add to your bike, or bike clothing?

Flip top helmet next

Do you get fully kitted up if your only going a short distance?

Mainly fair weather, won't get the bike out if it's throwing it down but don't mind if i get caught out in a few showers.
Sports, Tourer, Cruiser or what?

theres 2. scarborough races and the isle of man. i'd rather watch road racing than track racing. back in the 60s and 70s when japanese bikes first started coming out i would'nt go near them. they looked like the engines were made of tin. what did you think of them.

I thought the same as you, so in 1966 I bought a brand new British bike. Although the bike I bought was good, it llooks like we were wrong about the Japs. It may be even harder to believe, but in 20 years we will probably be saying the same about Chinese bikes. Would you like to see a revival of the British bike industry?

Yes but then the oil prices would go up as the British couldnt build a bike that didnt leak oil
dont think it will happen tho foriegn bikes would be far cheaper

What would be your Dream Bike ?

I haven't owned anything bigger than a Suzuki GS550E, heavy bike and not very inspiring. Sold it and all being well I will be getting a 1200 BMW next year, not sure what model yet. Performance or character?

A good combination of both really, i'm not a nutty speedster but do like power there if i need it, i like a bit of character along with it. Whats your best venue for bike meets?

Sunday morning at the Hollyview cafe West Kingsdown. It's only a small infomal gathering of mainly classic bikes. It tends to be the older generation and a real friendly, helpful bunch. They are all very knowledgable about bikes, restoring and repairs. Most people go to the Oakdene down the road at Wrotham where there are a lot more bikes. What rally are you most looking forward to?

I wish i was because it looks like a great event but, that weekend is already booked up for me. Ah well. 2013 it is then. How many bike's would you own if money was no object?

At least a dozen that I can think of. Eight of those would be classic bikes the rest modern of varying types. If you have a car, what do you use more the bike or the car?

Car mainly through the day to get to work
Bike evenings and weekends

If you had a chance to ride around any track which one would you choose ?
