I smiled broadly twice today whilst listening to Radio4

I heard two sayings/phrases that I coined some years ago

"Chewing gum for the eyes" ... television circa 1972

"Couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo" ... circa 1958

I've heard them reiterated countless times since then

But never expected to hear them on Radio4

Odd how little things from your past come back to "haunt" you

Maserati eh? thats ok, that means that when I win there will be plenty DB9's in the Aston dealership. Just something comfy to go to the suzuki and triymph dealerships to order my new bikes.

a wee 14 year old rescue dog at one of the customer's houses- a very happy and friendly wee thing -obviously well loved and cared for and had been given a great life which was nice to see

Absolutely everything, didn't even mind the early start to get down to Matlock, had great weather all day.
Had to smile at Danny getting me leather trousers and being tempted to add a jacket too.
Only regret was that Danny wasn't up to riding but at leasthe it means I've got space for my shopping!
