Realising that most of the lovely offers of support we had for the fundraiser we're merely empty offers with no real substance.

Definately keep at it sweet, it just can take some time to get the slow balance right, once the click is made then its all a piece of cake, and it just clicks suddenly and you are doing it. HAHA though I think the last time I did a U turn with both feet up i was on my test.

I find that my right hand is my best friend for slow manoeuvres in the dark. My second best friend is a pair of shinpads.

The thought that not one single person offered to help my daughter when her scooter broke down on a very busy island, one white van man even had the cheek to hoot his horn at her because another van had slowed down to let her walk her scooter across from the inside lane of the island to the outside lane to safety. Bearing in mind she is only 5ft 3inch and about 7.5stone you would have thought someone would have helped her. Even a biker rode passed her, come on bikers just because she rides a scooter it don't mean she is a chavey hooligan the way she dresses on her scooter shows that, all good protective biker gear. sorry rant over, just felt so sorry for her when I went to meet her and saw how far she had to push the her scooter.

Sign of the times cg,when i broke down on the way to helmsley dozens of bikes roared past, having a good look as they went. The only guy that stopped was driving a pony and trap. When i came off the other week it was a scooter rider that doubled back to see if he could help,2 wheels is 2 wheels in my book.
