I prefer leathers in warm weather, as long as I am on the move, otherwise they can get too hot. In winter I use non leather for warmth.
Do you have a preference for tyres?
sorry ... maybe do a forum question abou the hi viz?? just a thought... get a lot of feedback then .... im just a very chatty lassie...
i probd dont know enough about tyres to have a preferance but i think it depends on the bike you ride and what you want to use it for...i got michelins on mine or are they bridgstone... i dont rememeber
if someone is having a conversation do you ask them what they are talking about and join in even if they havent directly asked you something?
Yes, well I am now. But I wasn't so good at meeting people when I was younger. What makes a big difference is if you both have a common interest to discuss, or a similar sense of humour.
If you really wanted to go out on a reasonably long ride and you thought the weather would turn, say half way through. Would you take caution to the wind and go out anyway?
There is no definate answer to that question. It depends as to why you are meeting that person.
If you both know it is for friendship, then I would shake hands on meeting but on departing I would give a friendly kiss on the cheek, maybe both ckeeks if continental.
If it were for a possible relationship and you have at least converesed in some way prior to meeting, then a kiss on the cheek is OK I think. But even then I would have to read the feedback as to whether it is the right thing or not. Basically I am pretty old fasion when it comes to these things, but I think sometimes the old ways are better and show respect.
More controversial now:-
Do you think it is ok to have more than a kiss on a 1st date?
I wouldn't call it love at first sight, more a twang, when you get that instant attraction. Which I think developes into something deeper we call love.
So who is it then Mrs bjp?
or if bjp is not next:-
do you ever fix your boots?
I didnt say it was about me, it was just a general question I dont believe in Love been married twice
I do fix my boots they are to expensive to chuck away and buy new, l used super glue but l always have trouble with super glue l can never get it to work
no. you can't lean a trike over and you've got to take more care overtaking. like david said you might as well be in a car.
do you have as much fun on your bike now as you did when you were about 20
I do, but it is now a different sort of fun. When I was young my bike was my only transport and a life line, as I lived in a rural area. Now it's all fun.
What else could give the thrill of riding your bike?
I think that there should be varrying speed limits according to traffic density.
Such as:-
early hours of the morning with fairly empty road no limit, but reduced to 70 mph when approachiing major junctions.
At peak times 70mph but with a minimum speed limit as well, lets say that equivalent to the HGV maximum speed.
I am convinced that most accidents on motorways are as a result of slow moving traffic, either directly or indirectly. Many police forces want the speed limits increased for safety reasons.
It is also important that minimum driving distances between vehicles is enforced.
What other legal restrictions would you like to see changed on the roads and why?
